Why would I have a 12yo at a party?

If you’re thinking about what to do for your next kids birthday party, you may think “why would I trust a 12 year old with making [insert name here]’s birthday party special?” or “what does a 12 year old know about customer service?” And those are fair questions. Let’s address these.

The Balloon Kid service is designed to make everyone happy! While William is the face behind The Balloon Kid & the brains behind the balloon twisting, his back office administrator / assistant / mum is also involved to ensure everything runs smoothly and you feel delighted about the service you receive.

Who is this person? Let’s meet her…

Hi! I’m Robyn! I work at an accounting firm during the day, but since having kids have dreamt of the day I can pack it all in to become a kids party planner (I’m not sure the money would be as good though)… I help out behind the scenes to confirm bookings, confirm party themes, make sure we have the right balloon designs sorted to suit your party… and I also twist balloons at the party too. I am here to ensure you’re delighted with the service you get.

I love everything about kids birthday parties (& I’m slightly sad that my kids seem no longer interested in the parties I used to spend countless hours planning!). I enjoy helping William with his business as we get to spend time together… it also makes me very proud to see him do things which I definitely wouldn’t have the confidence to do at 12 (or 22). While I am bias as his mum, William is one of those kids who has always been very mature & wise beyond his years - he always been comfortable talking with adults and he has a very calm personality. Having William come to your party can give your own kids the inspiration that they could also do something like that when they are his age.

So, if you want an affordable, but high quality & unique birthday party experience, try out The Balloon Kid, you won’t regret it. You can check out the “reviews” page for some testimonials.
