Every time we twist balloons at a kids party we will bring a special balloon for the birthday child, boy or girl.
It's great to find out a bit about the birthday child before the party to know what they like - whether that is a cartoon character, a princess, cars, dogs, cats, or something else. We'll always try to find something that we can make which will excite the birthday child.
We're currently preparing for a party and trying out a few different balloon options. The trick is to find out what they like, to scan the internet for a reference photo, and if you're really lucky, find a tutorial video that explains how to make it.
With the pictures of Garfield, Sonic and the Lorax we followed different techniques -
Garfield - we couldn't find a good tutorial, but found a picture of a really cool looking Garfield. From here it was a case of working out the steps / options to create something which looked pretty similar.
Sonic - we found a great YouTube video by Mr Magico. We didn't have all the same balloons as the tutorial and so we improvised on a few parts of the design.
The Lorax - while we were on Mr Magico's channel we saw his tutorial for The Lorax and it was too cute to resist. With luck, we had all the necessary balloons, so this one was easy to follow straight along with the tutorial.
